The Egyptian Customs Authority at the port of Nuweiba had 20 tons of brand-new, but unclaimed clothing. Rather than letting them go to waste, Hemaya saw an opportunity to put these clothes to proper use and support families in need across South Sinai. Granted permission to collect and distribute them, Hemaya carefully sorted, disinfected, and securely packaged the clothing before loading them onto trucks. The clothes were then evenly allocated to cities throughout South Sinai. To ensure fair distribution, local authorities managed the final process of delivering them directly to the families in need.
