Black Board to White Board

In many schools across Nuweiba, traditional blackboards have long been a staple of classroom learning. However, the constant exposure to chalk dust poses health risks to both students and teachers, particularly in enclosed spaces. Recognizing this issue, Hemaya, in collaboration with Basata Ecolodge, launched the "Blackboards to Whiteboards" initiative. An effort to modernize classrooms and create healthier learning environments.

Through this project, all blackboards in Nuweiba schools were replaced with whiteboards, eliminating chalk dust-related respiratory issues and improving the overall classroom experience. This simple yet impactful change not only enhances the quality of classrooms, but also ensures a safer, cleaner, and more sustainable learning space for children.
